- At least 7 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Five (5) years or more experience in continuous chemical processing plant or refinery is a strong plus
- Broad based knowledge of mechanical engineering principles for chemical reactors, distillation, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, and filtration
- Experience with and knowledge of PSM systems (e.g., mechanical integrity and quality assurance)
- Familiarity with RAGAGEP, ASME, Pressure Vessel and Piping Codes
- Experience with materials science and engineering, metallurgical and welding principles and applications are a plus for this assignment
- Experience with plant design and project engineering and management.
- Six sigma green belt certification or higher is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
